Man in court charged with robbery and shoplifting offences in Dudley and Sandwell
A man has been charged with shoplifting and robbery offences in Dudley and Sandwell. Shakele Zaid was in court today charged with three counts of theft and two counts of robbery.
Police said the 39-year-old, of no fixed address, was initially taken into custody in connection to shoplifting incidents in Stourbridge and Cradley Heath last week. Zaid appeared at Walsall Magistrates' Court today, November 14.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "A man has been charged with multiple shoplifting offences and robberies in Dudley and Sandwell. Shakele Zaid, 39, of no fixed address, has been charged with three counts of theft and two counts of robbery.

"He was remanded in custody to appear at Walsall Magistrates' Court today. The charges relate to shoplifting incidents in Stourbridge and Cradley Heath in the last week.
