Man dies after being hit by car on busy Scots road
A man has died after a horror road crash in Paisley.
Emergency crews were alerted after two men, aged 40 and 50, were struck by a car at around 8:10am on Wednesday, September 18 on Hawkhead Road.
Both were rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Glasgow with 'serious injuries,' but sadly the 50-year-old died on Sunday, September 22. No information is available on the condition of the other man at this stage.

Cops have confirmed that the driver of the car was uninjured.
An image shows police tape locking down the road after the incident. Three police vehicles can be seen nearby, with one ambulance also at the scene.
The road was closed for around eight for enquiries to be carried out.
Police Scotland continue to appeal for information and are asking the public for assistance.
Sergeant Scott Gourlay said: “At this time, our thoughts are with the family of the deceased, along with everyone else affected by this incident.
“Our investigation into the circumstances remain ongoing and we ask anyone who has any information, including dash-cam footage at the time of the incident, to contact police.
"Anyone with any information who has not spoken to officers should contact police via 101, quoting incident number 0695 of Wednesday, 18 September, 2024."
