Man dies at work in Bristol after wall collapses
An investigation has been launched after a man died while at work in Bristol this afternoon, following a wall collapse. Avon and Somerset Police confirmed the man died whilst working on Parrys Lane, in Stoke Bishop.
Emergency services, including police and ambulance were called to the scene at around 12.50pm after reports of a wall collapse. Officers are now working with the Health and Safety Executive, to carry out an investigation into the incident. It has been reported that the man's next of kin have been made aware of his death.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset police said: "Officers are investigating the death of a man in Parrys Lane, in Stoke Bishop, Bristol, after receiving a call from the ambulance service at around 12.50 pm today (Wednesday 4 September) His next of kin are aware and our thoughts are with them at this extremely difficult time.
"The man sadly died while at work and we are therefore liaising with the Health and Safety Executive and together, are carrying out enquiries into the incident."
