Man dies after falling from Clydebank flat window as police label incident 'unexplained'

A probe has been launched following the death of a man on a Clydebank street.

Emergency Services rushed to Jean Armour Drive at around 7.50am on Tuesday (July 9) following reports that the man had fallen from a flat.

Medics battled to save the man's life but he was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. We reported earlier that police had sealed off a property as while they dealt with the incident.

Police are treating the death as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7.50am on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, police received a report a man had fallen from a flat in Jean Armour Drive, Clydebank.

"Emergency services attended and the man was pronounced dead. The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing."
