Man found dead in Glasgow flat as police launch probe

A man has been found dead in a flat in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to Linkwood Crescent in Drumchapel after the alarm was raised at around 2.30am on Sunday, June 2.

Officers received a report of the death of a 52-year-old man within a property.

The death is being treated as unexplained. Police say their enquiries are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.30am on Sunday, June 2, police received a report of the death of a 52-year-old man within a property in Linkwood Crescent, Glasgow.

“The death is being treated as unexplained. Enquiries are ongoing. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
