Man found dead in north Glasgow flat as probe launched into incident

An investigation is underway after a man was found dead in a Drumchapel flat.

Emergency services rushed to Linkwood Crescent at around 2.30am on Sunday, June 2, after the alarm was raised.

Officers say they received a report of the death of a 52-year-old man within a property.

Police are treating the death as 'unexplained'. Enquiries are ongoing into the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.30am on Sunday, June 2, police received a report of the death of a 52-year-old man within a property in Linkwood Crescent, Glasgow.

“The death is being treated as unexplained. Enquiries are ongoing. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
