Man in hospital after Farringdon stabbing as police investigate blood trail
A young man was stabbed in Central London as a blood trail was reported to police early this morning (Thursday, November 14). Shortly after 8am, the Metropolitan Police were alerted to a blood trail in Yardley Street in Farringdon.
When officers arrived at the scene, no victims or suspects were found. However, around an hour later, a young man arrived at hospital with a stab wound.
The man, aged in his 20s, was not in a life-threatening or life-changing condition. The Metropolitan Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

The full statement from the police force says: "Police were called at 08:02hrs to reports of a blood trail in Yardley Street, WC1. Officers attended but no victims or suspects were located.
"Shortly after 09:00hrs a man aged in his 20s presented himself at hospital with a stab injury. His injuries are not being treated as life-threatening or life-changing.
"No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue.
"Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or message @MetCC on X quoting CAD 1400/14NOV. Alternatively you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or visit crimestoppers-uk.org."
