Man in hospital with serious injuries after 'disturbance' in Glasgow city centre
A man is in hospital with serious injuries after a "disturbance" in Glasgow city centre.
Emergency services raced to the incident on Buchanan Street after receiving the alarm at 5am on Saturday. Crews attended and a 37-year-old man was found seriously injured.
He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment, where his current condition is unknown. Police say inquiries are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5am on Saturday, 16 November, 2024, we were called to a report of a disturbance on Buchanan Street, Glasgow. Emergency services attended and a 37-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment to serious injuries.
"Extensive enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with any information should contact police on 101, quoting incident 0641 of Saturday, 16 November, 2024."
