Man injured in attack by three men outside Pontefract pub
A man is receiving treatment for head and face injuries after being attacked by three men outside a pub in Pontefract.
The victim was stood outside the Red Lion pub on Market Place, Pontefract, when he was approached by three men and assaulted on Saturday morning around 1.45 am.
West Yorkshire Police received a call about the incident around 2.07 am from Yorkshire Ambulance Service, who said that a man was being taken to hospital with injuries that were reported to be as a result of an assault. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

A scene is now currently in place in Pontefract town centre as part of ongoing enquiries into this incident.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "If anyone witnessed any part of this incident, they are asked to contact Wakefield District CID via Live Chat online or by calling 101, quoting log 132 of 16 November."
