Man injured after M11 four-vehicle crash in Cambridgeshire

A man has been injured after a four-vehicle crash along the M11 in Cambridgeshire. The incident took place between junctions 10 and 11 near Whittlesford, at around 7.20am on Wednesday (June 12).

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called just after 7.20am to a road traffic collision on the northbound M11 between junctions 10 and 11 near Whittlesford.

"An ambulance and ambulance officer vehicle were sent to the scene. An adult man was transported to Addenbrooke’s Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”

A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: "This was reported to us at 7.27am by the ambulance service. It was a four-vehicle collision on the M11 between junctions 10 and 11, Shelford and Whittlesford.

"It was a slight injury and Highways led the recovery."
