A 22-year-old man was knocked unconscious and left needing metal plates in his jaw after a row over a woman outside a south-east London pub.

Scotland Yard today released CCTV images of two men wanted for questioning over the “nasty” attack at the Sovereign of the Seas pub in Petts Wood, Bromley.

The man had been drinking with friends in the Wetherspoon pub in Queensway when the group left around 12.30am to get food from a nearby takeaway.

Two men approached one of the victim’s female friends and began talking to her prompting him to step in and tell them to leave her alone, police said.
