Man left with 'life-changing' injuries after being found in Leicester street
A man has been left with "life-changing" injuries after being found in a Leicester street. Investigations into how he suffered the injuries are ongoing.
Calls were made to East Midlands Ambulance Service shortly before 10pm on Saturday, August 3, last year, after the man was discovered in Westcotes Drive, Westcotes. Officers from Leicestershire Police said it received a referral from the hospital last week to say that a review of the man’s injuries suggest they may have been caused from a road traffic collision or an assault.

The man, who has not been identified, remains in hospital with what have been called "life-changing" injuries. Inquiries are being carried out by officers to establish the circumstances of how the man came to receive his injuries.
