DS Connick said: "On May 19 last year family members reported 30-year-old James Beer missing and a year after his disappearance we have had no confirmed sightings of James and his whereabouts are unknown. From inquires we know James logged out of his computer at approximately 4.30am on May 18, 2023.

"However we have had no positive sightings of James since May 17 last year. James is described as being of slim build, 5ft 8in in height, and at the time of his disappearance sporting a goatee-style beard. We believe he was in possession of a blue rucksack.

"I am appealing to anyone who may have been on or around the area of Culfor Road, Loughor, on May 17 or 18, 2023, possibly heading to work or working themselves in that area, to cast your minds back. Did you see anyone matching James’ description on those days? If so please contact us.

Again we would like you to come forward and speak to us. Lastly this is a direct appeal to James. If you are reading this appeal please contact us to let us know you are safe and well.
