Man named in connection with thefts from bowling alleys

A man has been named in connection with a series of thefts at bowling alleys. Damian Rigby, of Lancaster Road, Hindley, Wigan, has been charged with four counts of theft and four counts of criminal damage.

The alleged thefts are in relation to bowling alleys across Cheshire. The 38-year-old has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Chester Magistrates Court on Tuesday 1 October.

The charges relate to a series of incidents at Superbowl venues in Widnes, Warrington and St Helens, which occurred between 30 April 2024 and 25 August 2024.
