Man Pulled From Rubble of Hotel Destroyed in Albanian Earthquake

Firefighters in Durres, Albania, had success on November 27, after they pulled a 33-year-old man out from underneath the rubble of a hotel destroyed by an earthquake.

The 6.4-magnitude earthquake, one of the strongest to hit the country in decades, struck north of Tirana on November 26.

In a press conference held on November 29, defense minister Olta Xhaçka said the bodies of 48 people killed by the earthquake had been identified.
