Man punched to the ground and kicked in the face during nasty late-night Union Street assault
A man was punched in the face and knocked to the ground in Union Street. The assault took place on Saturday, November 30, between 3am and 4am and investigating police officers were searching for three men in connection with the incident.
Devon and Cornwall Police said it received reports a man was punched in the face by an unknown person, knocking him to the floor. He was then kicked and punched in the face, stomach and leg.
The victim was left with an injured arm and leg, as well as facial wounds. A photo appeal was launched by police at the time.

Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police are seeking the public’s help to identify these men in connection with an assault in Plymouth. The incident took place on Union Street between 3am and 4am on Saturday 30 November.
"It was reported a man was punched in the face by an unknown suspect, knocking him to the floor. He was then kicked and punched in the face, stomach and leg. The victim was left with an injured leg and arm as well as facial injuries."
In an update on Monday, police said: "Police investigating an assault in Union Street, Plymouth on Saturday 30 November have identified two men they wanted to speak to in connection to the incident. It follows a picture appeal from the force."
