Man 'punched by group of 13 or 14-year-olds' in Leicester city centre
A man was “punched by a group of teenagers” in Leicester city centre. The incident happened in Belgrave Gate between 4.30pm and 5pm on Monday, September 16.
The injured man, who is in his 20s, was punched by a group of teenagers believed to be 13 or 14 years old, Leicestershire Police said. He was taken to hospital for treatment, but has since been discharged.
The force is appealing for witnesses to come forward. Detective Constable Lauren Thacker, the investigating officer, said today (Monday, September 23): “I’d like to speak to anyone who saw what happened or who filmed the incident on their mobile phone.
