Man rushed to hospital after being hit by bus on busy Glasgow street

A man has been taken to hospital after he was knocked down by a bus in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to Stockwell Street near St Enoch's centre, following reports of a pedestrian being struck by a bus at around 1pm on Sunday, February 2.

He was taken to hospital for assessment and the road was cleared an hour later. His condition is currently unknown.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1pm on Sunday, 2 February, 2025, police received a report of a crash involving a bus and a male pedestrian on Stockwell Street, Glasgow.

"The man was conveyed to hospital for assessment and the road was cleared around 1.55pm.”
