Man rushed to hospital in critical condition after Huddersfield stabbing

A man has been rushed to hospital in a critical condition after being stabbed in Huddersfield.

West Yorkshire Police were called to Haigh Street in Lockwood at 11.25pm on Friday, October 11. There, they found a 37-year-old man with serious injuries.

He has since been rushed to hospital and is in a critical but stable condition.

A 43-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and he remains in police custody. The police said: "Police are investigating after a stabbing on Haigh Street, Lockwood, Huddersfield.

"Officers were called at 11.25pm last night (11 October) where they found a 37-year-old man with serious injuries. He was taken to hospital in a critical but stable condition.

"A 43-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and remains in police custody at this time. Enquiries remain ongoing by Kirklees CID."
