Man rushed to hospital after late night stabbing on Union Street in Aberdeen

A man has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed in a late night incident on Aberdeen's Union Street.

Police and paramedics were called to the scene near the junction with Market Street shortly after midnight on Sunday, July 7.

The 32-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment, where his condition described as non life-threatening.

Police are yet to make any arrests, and say inquiries into the incident are currently ongoing.

A spokesperson said: "Around 12.25am on Sunday, 7 July, 2024, police received a report of the serious assault of a 32-year-old man on Union Street, near to Market Street, Aberdeen.

"The man was taken to hospital for treatment and enquiries remain ongoing."
