Man rushed to hospital with 'significant injuries' after attack in Ayr
A man was taken to hospital with “significant injuries” following a “targeted attack” in Ayr in the early hours of Sunday morning (November 24).
Police are appealing for information following the “serious assault” which took place at an address on Princes Court in the town.
The incident happened at around 1am and a 23-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment to injuries which were described as “significant”.

Enquiries are ongoing and Police Scotland are appealing to anyone with any information to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Graham Cuthill said: “A man has suffered significant injuries in what we believe was a targeted attack.
“Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything to contact us.
“I would also appeal to anyone who was in the area and who may have dash cam or private CCTV footage which could assist us to get in touch.”
