A man sentenced for drink driving, has been jailed, after he was caught again months later. Andrew Smythe had been disqualified when police pulled him over in the Bangor area.

A North Wales Police Gwynedd North statement yesterday (Monday) said: "This morning 58 year old Andrew Smythe of the Crown Hotel, Pwllheli was stopped and arrested for driving whilst under the influence of alcohol, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance.

"Officers were patrolling the Bangor area in the early hours of the morning and due to the poor manner of driving the vehicle was stopped where they discovered that Smythe was the driver.
