Man seriously injured after being 'attacked' in Coventry
A man has sustained serious injuries after being attacked in Coventry. It happened next to The Philip Larkin on the Burges.
Officers were called to reports of disorder breaking out at around 12am on Saturday (November 16). A man in his 20s was found to have been assaulted.
He sustained serious injuries, which were not believed to be life-threatening. Officers investigating the incident urged those who saw what happened to get in touch with them by calling 101.

In a statement issued today (November 18), West Midlands Police said: “We are investigating after a man was assaulted in Coventry. Shortly before midnight on Saturday, we were called to reports of a disorder outside a pub on the Burges.
“When officers arrived, they found a man in his 20s who had been assaulted, though his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening. Anyone who saw what happened and has more information can contact us via 101 or Live Chat, quoting crime number 20/971660/24.”
