Man seriously injured after being hit by car in Coventry
A man has been left with serious injuries after being hit by a car in Coventry. It happened at the junction of Radford Road and Dugdale Road.
Paramedics were called to the scene at around 8pm on Friday (September 6). Crews found that a vehicle and a pedestrian had been involved in a collision, West Midlands Ambulance Service said.
Medics treated the pedestrian, a man in his 60s, for potentially serious injuries. He was then taken to University Hospital Coventry in Walsgrave.

In a statement issued today (September 9), West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of a collision between a car and pedestrian at the junction of Dugdale Road and Radford Road at 8.06pm on Friday (September 6).
“One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended. We discovered one patient, a man who was the pedestrian, and he was treated for potentially serious injuries before being taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.”
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “We were called to Dugdale Road at its junction with Radford Road after a pedestrian was knocked over by a car at around 8pm on Friday (September 6). A man in his 60s suffered a head injury which was not life-threatening.”
