Man seriously injured after getting out of taxi on Canvey Island
A man was left with a serious injured after getting out of a taxi in an Essex street. Police said the man, who is in his 40s was exiting the vehicle when he was involved in a 'collision with a vehicle'.
The man suffered a serious injury to his left ankle in the incident, which took place on Small Gains Avenue, Canvey Island. Essex Police said the incident took place sometime between 12.45am and 1.15am on October 6, and anyone with information is being urged to contact the force.
