Man 'seriously injured' in Hainton Avenue incident

A man is reported to have "suffered serious injuries to his legs" in an incident in Grimsby.

Humberside Police were called to a store in Hainton Avenue this morning (Monday, June 10). Upon arrival, officers found a man who is understood to have been seriously injured though the incident "is not being treated as suspicious".

In a statement this afternoon, a Humberside Police spokesperson said: "We were called to an incident at a business on Hainton Avenue, Grimsby, shortly before 9am this morning (Monday 10 June).

"Upon attendance, a man was found to have suffered what are thought to be serious injuries to his legs and was taken to hospital for treatment.

"Whilst enquiries are underway to establish the circumstances, the incident is not being treated as suspicious at this time."
