Man seriously injured in stabbing near fire station
A man was taken to hospital after he was stabbed on a busy main road. Police sealed off a section of Washwood Heath Road in Ward End after finding the seriously injured victim.
He received trauma care from paramedics on the scene before he was transferred to hospital. The cordon was later taken down.
West Midlands Police said: " We're investigating a stabbing in Washwood Heath Road at around 10.35pm on Saturday (9 November). A man in his 20s was taken to hospital with injuries which were not life-threatening.

A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a stabbing on Washwood Heath Road, Ward End, Birmingham at 10.44pm on Saturday, November 9. An ambulance, two paramedic officers and a trauma team attended the scene.
"Crews arrived to find a man with serious injuries. He received trauma care on scene before being conveyed on blue lights to hospital for further trauma treatment."
