Man seriously injured after two-car crash in Rugby
A man who was trapped following a two-car crash has sustained serious injuries. It happened in Rugby.
Paramedics were called to the scene of the incident at around 3.50pm on Friday (November 22). Crews found that two vehicles had been involved in a collision at the junction of Clifton Road and Vicarage Hill.
Medics found that a man, the driver of one of the cars, was seriously injured. He was trapped and had to be freed while receiving emergency treatment, West Midlands Ambulance Service said.

His condition was stabilised before he was taken to University Hospital Coventry in Walsgrave. A woman and two children, who were the occupants of the second car, did not require treatment and were discharged.
In a statement issued today (November 25), West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of a two car RTC at the junction of Clifton Road and Vicarage Hill in Rugby at 3.47pm on Friday (November 22). An ambulance, paramedic officer and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance attended.
“A man, the driver of one car, was seriously injured. His condition was stabilised before he was conveyed to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for further emergency care. A woman and two children, the occupants of the second car, did not require treatment and were discharged on scene.”
