Man shares jacket potato recipe – but people say it looks like 'dog food'
A man's unusual choice of topping for his baked potato has sparked a wave of hilarity online.
When Niall B shared his culinary creation on the Facebook group Rate My Plate, he probably didn't expect to become an internet sensation. His "Jacket Potato with Cheese and Prawn Cocktail" accompanied by scotch eggs on the side left thousands in fits of laughter as they critiqued his haphazard meal.
The public did not hold back when commenting on the post, with many expressing their displeasure at the sight of his jacket potato's toppings. One person joked: "Looks like gourmet dog food."

Others described it as "grim", yet there was a twist in comments as a few brave souls admitted they would give the prawn and cheese-topped potato a go. One said: "I'd eat this, love prawn cocktail and cheese with jacket potatoes."
Another added: "I'm not sure about the combination of cheese and prawn but I'd still eat it." Some were puzzled by the additional items, while others were busy trying to identify what lay beneath the mound of toppings. "Where's the jacket?" one user joked.
A third wrote: "Do you want some jacket potato with those prawns?" Curiosity also arose regarding other items on the plate, with what appeared to be scotch eggs drawing attention. One commenter remarked: "What are those brown balls? Cheese, preferably melted, is lovely on a jacket potato but not prawn cocktail. Sorry, you lost me on this one!"
One person joked: "Cheese and prawn cocktail! Have you tried adding a garnish of carpet fluff and chimney soot. Couldn't make it any worse." The food enthusiast's unusual pairing did not sit well with Facebook users. Another asked in disbelief: "Poor Jacket Potato, such disrespect.... What are those brown yokes, scotch eggs?"
