Man’s Stark Video Warning About The Dangers Of Taking Drugs Goes Viral

An Australian man’s thought-provoking video message warning about the dangers of taking recreational drugs has now been shared thousands of times.

Jordy Hurde was hospitalised after taking party pills and he posted a pictures of himself in a hospital bed onto his Facebook page.

His message soon went viral and he then posted a video message thanking people for their support - while also showing exactly what drugs can do.

Physically shaking and stuttering throughout, Jordy’s condition alone proved to be sobering to many.

But he also said he wanted to “share his story” about what happened, stating that ecstasy was popular in the Australian party scene.

He said: “This isn’t for sympathy or anything, this is for awareness.

“Doctors can’t believe I’m still alive so I’m so grateful that I’m still here.

“It’s a waiting game at the moment to see if I’ll have a permanent jerking motion and… am not sure whether my stutter will get better any time soon.”

He added: “Please don’t get sucked in, it all seems like fun and games.

“But it’s not worth it. If I have to live like this I’ll have to struggle for the rest of my life.

“Be the stronger person and say no to drugs.”

The video has now been shared over 70,000 times, with Facebook users praising him for the “eye-opening” clip.
