Man suffers 'life-changing' injuries after 'shooting' in village
A man has suffered 'life-changing injuries' after a 'shooting' in a village. Witnesses spotted armed police and the force helicopter scrambled to Moston Green on the outskirts of Sandbach.
Now police are appealing for witnesses after a 38-year-old man was found with injuries to his chest and eye. Cheshire Police say they were called to 'reports of a firearms discharge' in the Dragon's Lane area of the village at around 9pm on November 20.
The force say the man was taken to hospital where is injuries are considered life-changing. Villagers were told to expect to see a police presence following the incident.

Superintendent Claire Jesson, Eastern Area Policing Commander said: "I understand this report will cause residents some concern, please be assured that my officers will be in the area providing a high visibility presence."
Witnesses are asked to call the force on 101 quoting IML 1967229.
