Man suffers 'potentially life-changing injuries' in County Road crash
A man has suffered potentially life changing injuries after being hit by a motorbike. Merseyside Police confirmed officers were called to County Road, close to The Glebe Hotel, in Walton, shortly after 9.20pm following reports of a crash between a motorbike and a pedestrian.
The force incident manager for Merseyside Police said the pedestrian suffered serious and potentially life-changing injuries as a result of the crash, with the motorcyclist, also a man, suffering injuries to his leg. Police said the pedestrian was "conscious and breathing" following the crash.
He said: "We were called to a road traffic collision between a motorbike and a pedestrian at 9.22pm. Road closures are in place and no arrests have been made. The pedestrian suffered serious injuries that are potentially life-changing but not life threatening.
