Man suffers 'potentially serious injuries' in Stoke-on-Trent dog mauling
A man has received 'trauma care' in hospital after being attacked by two dogs on a city street. Today officers are continuing to search for one of the dogs after the incident in Normacot.
Now paramedics say the casualty suffered 'potentially serious injuries' following the attack on Lennox Road. As reported by StokeonTrentLive, armed cops had been sent to the terraced street at around 9am 'to reports of two dogs attacking a man'.
One dog was seized by officers - but the other is thought to have 'run away'. In response cops have been carrying out a search across the neighbourhood - with drones also sent up.

Families who may spot the dog, 'believed to be a black bulldog type breed', are being urged not to approach the animal. The casualty has been taken to hospital where he has undergone further 'trauma care'.
A spokeswoman for the ambulance service said: "We were called by Staffordshire Police to reports of a dog attack on Lennox Road. An ambulance crew responded to the scene and treated a man who had sustained potentially serious injuries. He was conveyed to hospital for further trauma care."
Police say the man suffered injuries to his arms and hands.
A spokesman said: "Officers were called to Lennox Road this morning to reports of two dogs attacking a man. Armed officers went to the scene alongside paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service. A man was taken to hospital with injuries to his arms and hands that aren’t thought to be serious at this time. One of the dogs was seized by officers by 9.10am. A thorough area search has been carried out this morning using drones to search for the second dog, which we think ran away from the area. The dog is believed to be a black bulldog type breed, although we can’t be certain at this point. We’re advising people not to approach the dog as a precaution but to report any sightings to us."
