Man taken to hospital following M4 central reservation crash
A motorist was taken to hospital following a crash on the M4 early this morning.
Officers were called at 2:40am after a vehicle had collided with the central reservation between junction 16 and junction 17 of the motorway.
The road was closed for a few hours whilst emergency services attended the incident.
However, the road was fully reopened to traffic at around 4:35am.
The driver was taken to hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries.
Police have confirmed that no arrests were made in connection with the incident.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We responded to reports of a single-vehicle road traffic collision between J16 and 17 on the M4 at about 2.40 am.
“The driver of a car appeared to have been in collision with the central reservation.
“He was taken to hospital by officers, to be treated for minor injuries.
“There were no arrests.”
