Man and three boys arrested after violent disorder in Merseyside
A man and three teenagers were arrested following violent disorder across Merseyside. A 45-year-old man from Bradford was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder in Southport which happened in July.
Merseyside Police said he will be questioned later today. Also arrested was a 16-year-old boy from Ainsdale, who was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder; burglary other; and criminal damage in Southport.
Another 16-year-old boy from Speke was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder in Liverpool city centre. A 17-year-old boy from Bootle was also arrested on suspicion of violent disorder in Southport. All three have been conditionally bailed, a spokesperson for the force said.

The total number of people arrested for disorder in Merseyside now stands at 144, with 97 charged and 79 sentenced to a combined 164 years and five months in prison. Merseyside Police's latest gallery of people who may have information to assist can be found here.
