MEG LUDEMANN: The lawyer representing Jack Sweeney, a college student who runs social media accounts tracking celebrity private jets like, Taylor Swift, says his client is not going to buckle to the ceasefire and desist letter he received from the singer's lawyers last December. That letter called out Sweeney for potentially endangering Swift by sharing live updates on where she was heading. In addition to citing that Meta took down the tracking accounts because of the safety issue.

And if you're wondering why is it public information to track the locations of these celebrity private Jets, there's two answers as to why. To have a better chance at finding a plane if it were to go down, and for accountability purposes. Versus doing it in real-time, Sweeney now posts this information on a 24-hour delay.
