Man United dream line-up after completing £68m Eberechi Eze transfer
The summer transfer window has only just closed and Manchester United are already looking ahead to the future.
United made five new signings during the recent transfer window to strengthen the options in Erik ten Hag's squad. Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair Mazraoui and Manuel Ugarte all moved to Old Trafford before last month's deadline.
Yoro is yet to make his competitive debut for United after suffering an injury during the pre-season trip to the United States. Ugarte is also waiting to make his bow given he was not signed in time to feature in the defeat to Liverpool before the international break.
In the weeks to come, Ten Hag will hope to have all five of his summer signings available to help United achieve success this season. It's understood, though, that the Reds are already looking ahead to the players they will sign in 12 months time.

MEN Sport understands that Ebererchi Eze is a player of interest to United, after a summer that saw the Crystal Palace star heavily linked with a move away from Selhurst Park. Eze will have a release clause worth £68million in 2025, and it remains to be seen if United will consider activating that clause at the end of the season to bring the England international to Old Trafford.
Should that happen, Eze would be a valuable addition to the United squad next season and likely go straight into a dream starting line-up.
Andre Onana is expected to remain the first-choice goalkeeper for United in 2025. After getting back to full fitness, Yoro will hope to secure a spot as a first-choice centre-back alongside either De Ligt or Lisandro Martinez.
Full-back will likely see Mazraoui and Diogo Dalot battle for the starting spot on the right-hand side. Unless a new signing is made, Luke Shaw is expected to remain the first-choice left-back while Tyrell Malacia's future will depend on how his season goes after spending more than a year on the sidelines through injury.
After the signing of Ugarte, United may hope to have the Uruguay international partner Kobbie Mainoo in midfield. Bruno Fernandes could occupy the No.10 role, while Eze could be utilised on either wing with Alejandro Garnacho on the opposite side.
Amad Diallo, Marcus Rashford and Antony will add depth to the wide forward position for United. There will be no Jadon Sancho to call on in 2025 when the obligation to buy clause in his loan deal to Chelsea is activated.
That leaves the centre-forward role, which currently sees Zirkzee as the regular starter. Once Rasmus Hojlund returns from injury, the duo will compete to be the first-choice striker for United both for the current season and for the long-term.
