Anthony Martial is set to be available for Manchester United’s clash with Crystal Palace despite being forced to withdraw from the France squad.

The in-form winger sustained an adductor injury in the 3-1 defeat to Manchester City before the international break.

Martial has been back in training this week and unless he suffers a setback on Friday is expected to start against Palace.

United were also hopeful Paul Pogba would recover from the thigh injury that ruled him out against City and saw him withdraw from the France squad.

Romelu Lukaku came back from a hamstring problem to make a substitute appearance against City - but couldn’t play for Belgium during the international break.

Marouane Fellaini is back in training after a groin problem - and Diogo Dalot also looks in contention to play for the first time in two months.

That could improve Jose Mourinho’s options at full back with Luke Shaw suspended, meaning Ashley Young is set to move over to left.

Marcus Rashford and Eric Bailly are both hoping to overcome knocks.
