These are the latest transfer rumours from around the Premier League and the big leagues in world football

United win race for wonderkid

Australian wonderkid James Overy has agreed to sign for Manchester United, with the Red Devils seeing off rival interest from West Ham United and Everton.

Journalist Alan Nixon reports United put on a charm offensive to capture the Perth Glory teenager. He was given the "VIP treatment" while in Manchester and was seen at Hotel Football, located next to Old Trafford.

United's season only ended last weekend but they've now won the race to secure their first signing of the summer.

Overy, who plays at right-back, was given a tour of all three clubs, with United winning through. A three-year deal has been put on the table, with Perth Glory set to receive compensation under FIFA rules.

Liverpool target says goodbye

Liverpool will do battle with Real Madrid this summer to sign Leny Yoro from French side Lille.

New Reds boss Arne Slot will be backed with a significant transfer kitty over the next few months in a bid to get his tenure off to a strong start.

He has already identified his priorities, with a new centre-back, a holding player, a left-back and a new striker all on his wishlist.

Teen Yoro is seen as the perfect partner for Virgil van Dijk at the heart of the Reds' defence. According to the Daily Mail, the 18-year-old has already made up his mind about leaving and has even informed his team-mates of his decision.

Lille would want £50million for the rising talent, but it is believed a £30million offer would likely be accepted by the Ligue 1 outfit.

Arsenal in pole position for striker

Arsenal are said to be in pole position to sign RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko.

The youngster, who is a work in progress but rated highly, would command a price tag of around £45million.

He has been on the Gunners' radar for the past few months and would likely provide back-up for Kai Havertz next season at the Emirates, should a deal get done.

Manchester United have also been credited with interest, with his agent having been spotted at Old Trafford for the Gunners' 1-0 win over the Red Devils last season.

Arsenal have also been linked with Newcastle United star Alexander Isak and Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee in recent months.

Toon close in on signing

Newcastle United are closing in on the signing of Lloyd Kelly.

The defender's contract with Bournemouth is up, with Eddie Howe a reported fan of the versatile man. The Magpies could be closing in on a double defensive swoop in fact, with Fulham's Tosin Adarabioyo also being lined up.

Howe lost both Jamaal Lascelles and Sven Botman to long-term injury last term and is seeking to reinforce his defensive options ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.

A new goalkeeper is also on the cards, with Villarreal's Filip Jorgensen the latest stopper to be linked with a move to St James' Park.

Nick Pope has been sidelined for the Toon for some time.
