Man Utd star Marouane Fellaini set to escape ban for studs-up tackle on Luka Milivojevic

Marouane Fellaini is unlikely to face a retrospective ban for his high tackle on Luka Milivojevic.

The Crystal Palace captain was lucky to avoid serious injury after Fellaini went over the ball and into Milivojevic’s ankle during the 0-0 draw at Manchester United.

Referee Lee Mason did not even blow for a foul and because he saw it clearly, Fellaini is set to escape retrospective punishment.

Palace are one point above the relegation zone but their last four performances against Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and United have lifted Roy Hodgson.
