Man v Food star 'broken and devastated' three days after filming equipment stolen in Barnet
The creator of Man v Food has shared his devastation three days after his filming equipment was stolen in North London. Adam Richman told followers on X earlier this week his crew were robbed after stopping off at Welcome Break services on the M1 in Barnet.
His van contained cameras, suitcases, laptops and personal items, which he claims was "completely cleaned out" by thieves in under five minutes. Despite tracking his stolen items to Cricklewood, East Finchley and Golders Green, the American TV star has not been able to retrieve anything.
"Still so sad, broken, angry & devastated from the theft that of all of my possessions. Could barely get out of bed today," he said in an update.

"I used to cherish every second in this beautiful country. Now I just want to go home." Richman is offering a reward to anyone with information about the stolen belongings, which also includes his medication, a birthday card from his late father and a book from his mother.
He has asked followers not to personally intervene or find the items themselves to prevent any harm. Despite sharing his love for England, Adam says the incident has made him feel unsafe in a way he never has before.
Adam continued: "A place that has always filled me with joy, curiosity, and overwhelming happiness - has, due to the actions of a few crappy people, made me feel a bit defeated.
"I’m not blaming all of England, or all English people. Absolutely not. That would be ridiculous. For the most part, I’ve always felt love from everyone I’ve met here. I’m just super despondent right now. I hope you can understand that."
A spokesperson for Welcome Break said following the incident: "We are aware of a robbery that occurred today. The safety and security of our team members and customers is always our top priority and we are working closely with the police to support them with their enquiries."
