Police are investigating a fight in South London after a video of a man wielding a knife was shared on social media. The clip, shared on X by Crimeldn, appears to show a man holding a three-inch blade and striking at a door in Plumstead while a group of delivery drivers barricade themselves inside a fast-food restaurant.

The incident, which happened on Tuesday (November 19) at around 7pm, led police to arrest a man before taking him to hospital with minor injuries. A second short video of the incident shows a different man holding a similar-looking knife and kicking the original suspected knifeman while he is on the ground. Like the first video, we are unable to identify the exact location.

However, we were able to identify the location a third video as a row of shops in The Slade near Plumstead Common. This video, taken from further up the street, shows the moment a response police officer drew his Taser on a man and ordered him to put his hands on his head and kneel on the ground. The Taser was not discharged in the short video.

All three videos are believed to form part of the same incident. This morning (November 21), Scotland Yard confirmed police were called to a fight on a road only a few metres away from The Slade, while we also spoke to a shop worker who confirmed there had been an arrest there on Tuesday evening.

A Met Police spokesperson said: "On Tuesday, 19 November police were called to Kirkham Street, at 7:13pm following reports of a fight. Officers attended the scene and arrested a man on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon. He was taken to hospital with minor injuries, he now remains in custody.

"Enquiries into the circumstances are on-going, if you saw or have any information on the incident then please contact police on 101 stating CAD6316/19NOV."
