Man and woman arrested after £1,000 of class A drugs, cash and machete found inside Grimsby house

Two people have been arrested after £1,000 worth of class A drugs, cash and a machete were discovered inside a Grimsby house.

Officers from Humberside Police carried out a misuse of drugs act warrant at a property on Weelsby Road on Friday, July 5.

Upon entering the address, police are believed to have discovered approximately £1,000 worth of suspected class A drugs, along with a quantity of cash and a machete.


A 21-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were arrested at the scene on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

Both have since been released under investigations whilst police continue with their enquiries.
