Man and woman in hospital after dog attack in Aberdeenshire

Two people are in hospital after a dog attack in Aberdeenshire.

Police Scotland were called to the scene on Claymore Crescent in Boddam at around 4pm on Saturday, September 7.

Officers responding to reports of two people being attacked seized the dog and it was later destroyed.

The condition of the man and woman taken into hospital following the incident is currently unknown, writes the Daily Record.

Enquiries into the incident are currently ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 4pm on Saturday, 7 September, 2024, police received a report a man and woman had been attacked by a dog in Claymore Crescent, Boddam.

"Officers attended and both injured parties were taken to hospital. The dog was seized and has been destroyed. Enquiries are ongoing."
