A man and woman have been rushed to hospital following a single-vehicle crash on the outskirts of Edinburgh.

Emergency services rushed to the A1 near Newcraighall on Saturday morning following a report of a one-vehicle collision as one side of the carriageway was closed to traffic.

Several Lothian Buses services were forced to divert as a result as huge tailbacks started to form around Fort Kinnaird and The Jewel.
