Fans of Ariana Grande have shared images of bunny ears in a show of solidarity for the victims of the bomb attack in Manchester.

Twenty-two people were killed and 59 injured when a suspected suicide bomber detonated an explosive device after the pop concert in the Manchester Arena.

The arena was filled with more than 21,000 Grande fans – made up primarily of children and young people.

In a show of solidarity for those killed our wounded, social media users from around the world shared images of a bow with the trademark bunny ears often worn by the pop star.

They are posting them with the hashtag #prayformanchester, which has been tweeted over 20,000 times.

The 23-year-old singer posted her own tweet shortly after news of the explosion broke, saying she was “broken”.

One of the victims of the attack has been named as 18-year-old Georgina Callander, from Lancashire.

The Grande “superfan” had tweeted her excitement before the concert and re-posted images from when she met the star in 2015.

Her family told the Standard they were distraught at the killing, but that it was “too soon” to say anything further.
