Mauricio Pochettino has recalled Dele Alli to the Tottenham starting XI as the north Londoners look to end Manchester City’s record-breaking Premier League winning run.

In beating Swansea mid-week, Pep Guardiola’s side set a new English top-flight record for consecutive wins with 15 on the spin - but Spurs will be looking to put the breaks on their seemingly inevitable charge to the title at Etihad Stadium this evening.

Alli was named on the bench in a League game for the first time in 13 months on Wednesday as Spurs laboured to a 2-0 win over Brighton at Wembley Stadium, as Pochettino looked to keep his side fresh through a hectic schedule.

Pochettino’s side have not lost against their hosts since May 2015, and are four games unbeaten against this season’s runaway leaders. However, they will face a very different challenge in today’s visit to the east-end of Manchester.

Heung-min Son, who scored here in a 2-2 draw last season, has been in fine form in recent weeks, and he keeps his place from Wednesday’s side.
