Manchester friends and family use social media to search for missing concertgoers

Following a deadly explosion that rocked the Manchester Arena in northern England where pop singer Ariana Grande was performing Monday night, many took to social media to search for missing friends and family.

Police said there were at least 19 fatalities and 50 injuries and that the incident was being investigated as a terrorist attack, the Associated Press reported.

Video posted to social media showed terrified fans scrambling to flee the arena in the aftermath of the blast, and then several panicked posts appeared on as friends and family attempted to locate missing concertgoers.
