Manchester gets a new giant vintage store with big brands like Levi's, Gucci, Nike, adidas and more
Vintage clothing has always been a big hit with shoppers, but with the cost of living crisis still hitting hard, preloved products are more popular than ever.
So it's hardly surprising that a new store dedicated to 'preloved fashion and circular items' is going down a storm.
ReMarket has opened in London Road, between Manchester Piccadilly train station and Piccadilly Markets and is packed with rails to rummage through for bargains.

There are some big brands up for grabs including the likes of Levi's, Nike, adidas, Stone Island, Gucci and Dickies, with prices a fraction of what you'd pay for new items.
The place is also a hub for independent sellers, artists, and creative entrepreneurs, offering flexible spaces to host short-term pop-up events.
And the venue currently features eight small businesses, including Bare Necessities, Archive X, 28 Vintage, Cherry Blossom Vintage and Blank Seams.
Bare Necessities is already a well-known retailer, with three locations in Salford and Manchester City Centre, and specialises in vintage clothing from the 80s to the 00s, with a wide array of jackets, sweaters, trousers, jeans, t-shirts and more.
At Stockport-founded 28 Vintage, there are premium outerwear top brands including adidas, Nike, North Face, Helly Hansen, Ralph Lauren and more.
Of course, all that shopping requires you to be fuelled up and ready to rummage, so there's a coffee shop there too, from Cheshire-based Cuppello's, which recently opened a new site in Ancoats. You can stop off there for a brew and some pastries before or after hitting the rails.
ReMarket, where the mission is 'to reintroduce second-hand items back into the market', is the brainchild of Bare Necessities founder Tony Shum, 24, from Stalybridge, Tameside, who decided to launch the new business with his partner Sophie Jones, 23, from Shrewsbury.
Tony, who grew up relying on second hand clothing, said: "Our venue features eight small businesses, a 300 sq ft pop-up area, and 15 rail spaces for showcasing sustainable and independent brands.
"We handle sales for our 'rent a rail' sellers, allowing them to focus on their craft while reaching a diverse audience of locals and visitors. ReMarket fosters creativity and supports the circular economy, providing a platform for businesses to grow and experiment."
Tony said the feedback they've received so far has been 'absolutely amazing'.
"People are really loving the whole concept, especially the coffee shop," he said. "We’re seeing a lot of familiar faces returning, along with plenty of new ones, which is really exciting.
"The weekends have been especially busy, and it’s great to see so much support. We’re really passionate about building a vibrant community hub for people who share our love for preloved items and sustainable living. It feels like we’re already making that happen, and we’re thrilled to keep growing."
ReMarket is open 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday, 10am to 7pm on Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sunday. Follow it on Instagram here.
