Manchester United are reportedly set to undergo a major change to the right-back department this summer.

United are getting ready for what is expected to be a busy summer transfer window at Old Trafford. Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos Group are overseeing their first summer window since assuming control of footballing operations at United earlier this year.

Erik ten Hag's future has been the subject of speculation throughout the season. Despite the uncertainty, United continue to be linked with several potential new signings for the summer window, while there are also rumours of a potential departure.

According to The Sun, Aaron Wan Bissaka is preparing to say his farewells at United this week. Wan-Bissaka's future has been the subject of speculation, with the right-back's contract set to run until 2025 after United activated the option to extend his deal by a further year back in January.

However, it seems that Wan-Bissaka will not be part of the long-term vision of Ratcliffe and Ineos. The report claims that United are prepared to allow Wan-Bissaka to leave the club this summer, and would listen to offers in the region of £20 million.

MEN Sport understands that only four players at United have not been placed on the transfer list this summer. Rasmus Hojlund, Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho and Andre Onana are understood to be the only players who are not available for transfer.

Elsewhere, it has been reported that Jeremie Frimpong is increasingly likely to leave Bayer Leverkusen this summer. United have been heavily linked with a move for Frimpong, who helped Leverkusen win their first-ever Bundesliga title this season.

According to German news outlet Sport Bild, Frimpong is favouring a move away from Leverkusen rather than to remain with the club, who are managed by Xabi Alonso. It has been reported that Frimpong has a release clause in his contract worth €40 million (£34 million), which is only going to increase the likelihood of the defender leaving Leverkusen.

United are not the only club to have been credited with an interest in signing Frimpong. Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and unnamed clubs from the Premier League are also reportedly in the running for the right-back.
